6. Data Sharing
When you submit a quote request, your contact details and service requirements are shared with 3-5 verified UK door repair specialists in your area. These specialists are independent businesses operating under their own legal entities and data protection obligations within the United Kingdom.
We require all network specialists to handle your data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. They may only use your data for the purpose of providing a quote and potential repair service. They may not use your data for marketing purposes without your separate consent.
We do not sell your personal data to any third parties. We do not share your data with advertising networks or marketing companies for their own purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it:
- Quote request data: 12 months from date of submission, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
- Technical and cookie data: Up to 13 months, in line with standard cookie retention periods.
- Email communications: 24 months from the date of the last correspondence.
- Anonymised analytics data: Retained indefinitely for statistical and platform improvement purposes, provided it cannot be re-identified.
