Request Data Deletion
Your right to erasure under UK GDPR — Article 17
1. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
Under Article 17 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to request the deletion or removal of your personal data where:
- The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose we originally collected it for
- You withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for processing
- You object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for continuing
- The personal data has been unlawfully processed
- The personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation
This right is also known as the "right to be forgotten". It is not absolute and applies only in certain circumstances as outlined above.
2. How to Submit a Deletion Request
You can submit a data deletion request by any of the following methods:
Send an email to privacy@sliding-door-repair-london.uk with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include your full name, the email address associated with your enquiry, and any reference numbers you may have received.
Contact Form
Submit a request via our contact page with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Provide your full name and the email address associated with your account or enquiry.
Postal Mail
Write to: Data Protection Officer, AccèsLeads UAB, LT-04111 Vilnius, Lithuania. Include your full name, contact email, and a clear statement that you wish to exercise your right to erasure under UK GDPR Article 17.
3. What Data We Delete
When you submit a valid deletion request, we will erase the following types of personal data from our systems:
- Your name and contact details (email, phone number, postal address)
- Enquiry and quote request history
- Service booking records and associated property details
- Any communications between you and our support team
- Newsletter subscription data and marketing preferences
We may retain anonymised, non-personal data for statistical and business analysis purposes after your personal data has been erased.
4. Response Timeline
- Within 30 calendar days
As required by UK GDPR Article 12(3), we will respond to your deletion request within 30 calendar days of receipt. We will confirm whether the data has been erased or explain why we are unable to comply.
- Identity verification may be required
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. This is to ensure personal data is not disclosed to unauthorised third parties.
- Extension for complex requests
If your request is particularly complex, we may extend the response period by up to 2 additional months. We will notify you within the first 30 days if an extension is necessary.

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI) at vdai.lrv.lt.
